About the Organisation
Centre for Social Research (CSR) is a non-profit organization based in New Delhi, India was founded in 1983. CSR is dedicated to creating a violence-free, gender-just society through social research, capacity building and advocacy.
Our Mission
For nearly three decades, Centre for Social Research; an esteemed research institute; and a lobbyist, advocate and advisor to government institutions. We operate at the local, national and regional levels in an effort to guarantee the rights of women & girls, further deepening the understanding of social issues from the lens of gender.
Our Vision
To build an understanding of social issues with the lens of a gender so as to enhance the capacities of individuals, communities and institutions for creating a humane, equitable and gender-just society.
