16 DAY'S OF ACTIVISM-2020

16 days of activism
The 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence is an annual international campaign that kicks off on 25 November, the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, and runs until 10 December, Human Rights Day. It is used as an organizing strategy by individuals and organizations around the world to call for the prevention and elimination of violence against women and girls. (source: unwomen.org)

CSR recognises the gender based violence that women as a distinct interest group face in both domestic and work places which is why we will inculcate a series of safety and skill development workshops over the course of 16 days.

CSR also aims to empower young girls through sport and political leadership participation. Further, for groundswell and active advocacy, we aim to initiate conversation around gender inequality through our podcasts and social media handles.
