Walkathon 2023 by CSR India
It’s the year 2023, and despite their capacity to act as agents of change and their right to participate equally in democratic administration, women’s leadership and political engagement are still restricted to a small number of individuals. Women hold just 26.2% of the world’s parliamentary seats around the globe and in India, the percentage is considerably lower than 15%.
On their 40th year of empowering women, this women’s day, CSR hosted a Walk-a-Thon to raise awareness about the significance of women’s leadership in politics & administration.
