Here’s what has happened in the last quarter and what’s to come!
Dear Friends and Supporters,
As we usher in the first edition of our
newsletter for 2024, I am happy to share
with you the remarkable strides we have
made in all our endeavours. We were
able to get approval for FCRA, I am
extremely pleased with my team to have
gone through the process patiently also
thankful to the Board members for their
continuous trust and faith in us.
This quarter, we have placed a spotlight
on our initiatives aimed at empowering
girls through sports, breaking down
barriers in workplaces to promote
gender equality, and combating violence
against women. Our spirited hockey
tournaments have not only showcased
the talent and passion of young athletes
but also served as a platform to
champion the rights and potential of girls
in sports.
Additionally, our POSH workshops
focusing on workplace safety have been
instrumental in raising awareness and
driving change, ensuring that
workplaces are safe, respectful, and
inclusive for all genders.
Recognizing the critical intersections
between gender, water, and climate
change, we have embarked on projects
that aim to address these complex
challenges.
Through research, advocacy, and
community engagement, we are
working towards creating sustainable
solutions that prioritize the needs and
rights of women and girls. Good news is
that ourJohad rejuvenation work is
starting in May.
In line with our commitment to digital
safety, our celebrations for Safer
Internet Day emphasized the
importance of creating a secure online
environment for everyone, particularly
women and girls who are
disproportionately affected by online
Deepfakes, harassment and abuse.
Our active participation at NGO CSW68
further amplifies our dedication to
advancing gender equality on a global
scale. By engaging with policymakers,
activists, and advocates, we are
shaping conversations and influencing
policies that foster safer, more inclusive
communities.
Thank you for your unwavering support
and commitment to our cause.
Together, we can continue to make a
meaningful difference in the lives of
