. No phone calls, please. Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted. At this time, CSR is looking for individuals to fill the following roles on a full-time basis and to begin immediately: HSS Water and Sanitation Pilot Program - Project Manager Roles and Responsibilities:
- Manage HSS project planning and execution
- Recruit team members and consultants, recommend members for advisory panel
- Liaise with SIDART, HSS, Advisory panel
- Oversee Needs Assessment Study, Training Module Development, and Pilot Execution
- Participate in data collection, module development, and execution of training
- Prepare model syllabuses and materials for frontline staff training and master training
- Establishing and maintaining budgetary systems
- Preparation and submittal to HSS plans, reports, developing and establishing a project management information system
- Organizing and conducting master training, training of trainers (TOT), follow up/monitoring of TOT and frontline staff
CSR Climate Change and Gender Program
- Plan and develop CSR’s Climate Change and Gender agenda
- Direct status report on the status of women’s engagement in the climate change
- Research areas for CSR engagement in the field
- Identify key areas of intervention for CSR
- Identify appropriate partners for program execution and funding.
Profile
- 10 years experience in rural development research, social research, needs assessments, environmental science,
- Expertise in water and sanitation issues
- Master’s Degree preferred
- Familiarity with social research methods
- Experience in FGD, PRA, and grass roots community training methods
HSS Water and Sanitation Pilot Program - Water Experts Roles and Responsibilities:
- Provide overall guidance on structure and focus of project in regard to water conservation and climate change.
- Provide framework for resource mapping and needs assessment in relation to water resources.
- Participate in field level data collection during needs assessment
- Develop training module content
- Act as trainer in the Basic Training and Training of Trainer
Experience
- 10 + years experience in water management, environment science or related field
- Developing and implementing water conservation programs in rural environments
- Experience in village level training
- Identify key areas of intervention for CSR
- Identify appropriate partners for program execution and funding.

HSS Water and Sanitation Pilot Program - PRA Consultant Roles and Responsibilities:
- Assist in developing rapid environmental assessment (REA) and community environmental action planning (CEAP) processes, tools and approaches, tailored to conditions in Sanganer
- Assist in developing and supporting a capacity building training programme for selected participants that would allow them to begin the process of applying REA and CEAP tools and approaches in practice
- Assist with the identification and selection of villages where these tools and approaches might be applied
- Be part of a team that draws up a workplan for Year I of this programme, identifying the required phases of training, technical support and monitoring missions.
- Monitor the introduction of these tools/approaches within the communities and provide technical backstopping support as required.
- Help develop an appropriate, local system of monitoring and evaluation for the REA/CEAP programme
Reporting : The PRA Consultant shall report directly to a Programme Manager. Progress reports shall be prepared against agreed upon deliverables
Education and Experience:
- University degree in Anthropology, Sociology, Environmental Sciences, or equivalent education and professional experience
- At least four years professional experience on PRA approaches with specific emphasis on environmental management and livelihoods
HSS Water and Sanitation Pilot Program - SPSS Consultant Roles and Responsibilities:
- Provide statistical analysis of needs assessment data
- Carefully determine the appropriate statistical tests for the research study and use the current version of SPSS software to perform the statistical analysis of the data.
- Provide a detailed written report that demonstrates the interpretation and report all of the SPSS tables and graphs resulting from the analysis
Experience:
- Degree in statistics or related field
- Expertise in data collection, tabulation, and analysis
- Previous experience in doing multi-variance analysis on socio-economic parameters
