Vision : To strive for peaceful and equitable society in which Gender Justice is realized.

Mission: To build capacities of women and men restructuring relationships towards achieving gender equality through training, consultation, research and information.

Gender Training Institute (GTI) is a logical and cohesive step towards an equitable society that ensures empowerment of women and restructured relationships towards gender justice. Since its inception in 1997 GTI has been working relentlessly towards dispelling the various misconceptions associated with gender, so that the notions associated with gender do not become a disabling factor for both men and women. The Institute endeavours to facilitate this mission through capacity building and training related activities. Grounded in the realities of the existing fabric, GTI reflects on gender interactions in culture, economy, and politics; of change and power, industry, management, media and other aspects of society. GTI believes that all people are decision-makers and so change-makers in their own context and consequently are all potential participants in GTI’ s programmes.

There has been a significant increase in the number of training programmes conducted by GTI. Recognition has come from the Government sector namely Delhi commission for women (DCW), DDA, DTC, etc from law enforcing agencies such as the Police institutions, NACEN, NICFS, International bodies like ICRW, UNFPA, DFID etc, from the Corporate sector like FICCI, HIPA, ITPO, Times foundation etc.

GTI believes that traininhg is not an end in itself, but part of a larger process of learning and change. With GTI as an initiative, we hope to equip society to achieve empowerment through a change in relationships between men and women from policy level ot household decision-making level.

CSR employs high-educated, creative and open collaborators, because we believe in the importance of this standard. This is the reason for being able to keep the high quality level of work. This good quality is a part of GTI's training courses and brings to every participant a great sense of achievement.
