The Development and Advocacy Department at CSR works to uphold the institution of the family, and promote the dignity of all human beings irrespective of caste, religion, gender and age through peaceful endeavour.

Our focus is on the prevention of discrimination to create a safe and secure society for women and children.

We work at local, national and regional levels on many women’s issues in various different capacities. Our activities range from implementing grassroots development projects in Varanasi , to running Crisis Intervention Centres for domestic violence victims in Delhi, to Co-ordinating a South Asian Network Against Trafficking.
