Objective:
"Making
a difference through Development Projects:
the CSR Context"
Centre
for Social Research (CSR) is an interface
between academic inquiry and social
action. It is also a step towards praxis,
which is inspired by the vision of a
just and humane social order. We are
guided by the imperatives of knowledge
based collective endeavors for the emergence
of such a society. For us, the continuous
accumulation of information, well-informed
analysis, critical social action projects,
constructive interventions in policy
making and strengthening of action groups
through dialogue and networks are the
basic dimension of such a quest.
CSR
is involved in development action
for conscientisation, empowerment,
