She can sprint her dreams into action by procuring the Midas touch, Hima Das
While another went on to change the scenario of Indian villages as a Sarpanch, Chhavi Rajawat.

It is through the life of one woman that several others stand to transform their own.

Literacy has undergone a learning process in itself throughout histories & societies, and has tailored to be a plural all-encompassing concept than a dichotomous one. Literacy acts as the foundation to enable interaction, and steps on to educating thyself, building bridges of experiences and hope. Education sparks passion to ignite the transformative spirit of our lives. It makes the invisible visible and taps into the limitless potential inherent in our lives, by weaving our potential and reality together.

This International Literacy Day let us come together as an ally for educating the girl, and help build an egalitarian environment.
Centre for Social Research, since its establishment in 1983,has been working for the cause of educating the girl child for over 3 decades with multi-faceted approaches so as to ensure that all stakeholders of the society are involved in working towards a holistic solution – from awareness generation, and educating communities &individuals to put an end to sex selective abortion in both rural and urban sector; and establishing Community Watch Groups.
